The location was ideal-just a short stroll to the charming centre of town. The property was well-equipped, featuring a comfortable sitting area alongside a dining table where we shared laughter and cake, all while enjoying a warm fire. This really added to the homey feel. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like free toiletries, an electric kettle for those late-night teas, and even a piano that got some playful tinkling! The responsive owners were a definite highlight, addressing any concerns promptly and kindly. The outdoor space, along with the garden furniture, provided a lovely spot for morning coffee. While the amenities may not scream luxury, they offered great value for a family gathering. With six of us from different corners of England and Europe, we needed comfort without breaking the bank.
